Classroom beta equipment program

OpenApparatus offers limited quantities of assembled dual-tube Lenz’s Law demonstrators to public school classrooms through its beta program. Approved requests are supplied at no cost, subject to manufacturing availability.

Priority is given to Title I schools and underfunded public districts. Submitting an application does not guarantee a unit or a class set.

How it works

  1. Apply and describe your classroom and intended use.
  2. We review the request and available manufacturing capacity.
  3. If fulfilled, use the assembled demonstrator to explore magnetic braking with your students.
  4. Share brief feedback to help improve the apparatus and supporting materials.
