High school student leaders

Start an OpenApparatus chapter

Form a student team at your high school to build open-source apparatus and share hands-on learning in your community. Tell us about your school, your goals, and what you would like to make together.

Dual-tube Lenz’s law demonstrator with a copper tube, a clear control tube, and printed end caps.
The dual-tube Lenz’s Law demonstrator is one of OpenApparatus’s open-source hardware projects.

How it works

  1. Apply with your school, location, current grade, and reasons for leading a chapter.
  2. OpenApparatus reviews your application and proposed goals.
  3. An onboarding discussion helps us explore your plans and possible next steps together.

Have your parent or guardian’s name and email ready. The form also asks whether you have access to a 3D printer.
